David's Army: raising giant killers

Before you come

What happens here

No two Sundays run the same, including who is up front. But the shape of one looks like this.

A Sunday, in no particular order
  1. 1

    Teaching

The whole room together. One message, pitched at teenagers rather than talked down to them.

  2. 2

    Breakout session

Smaller groups, split by platoon, by age, by gender, or totally at random. This is where the questions actually get asked.

  3. 3

    The charge

A short wrap up that pulls the breakouts back together. Juice for the week.

Numbered because it genuinely is a sequence. Everything else about a Sunday, including who leads it, changes week to week.

The rest of the week

David's Army is not only a Sunday. Other things run around it, and each one is a different kind of room.

  • Hangouts

Time together with nothing on the agenda. Games, food, and the friendships that make a Sunday worth coming back to.

  • Bible Study

Working through the DA Bible Study Guide together, a chapter at a time, with room to argue with it.

  • Motiv8

The midweek lift. A shorter gathering built to carry you from one Sunday to the next.
